l installed 500GB SSD in Place of DVD optical drive. l Cloned the operating system in this hard drive. When l turned ON my PC windows OS is seen in new SSD and in C drive. But the boot in drive shows C drive. l opened the Bios setting and looked at OS manager. There is not showing optional OS. SSD is not showing there. l exited and the computer was restarted. At that time SSD was not shown on my computer. OS in the HDD super shade and hide SSD. । disabled all windows security features and again the computer restarted. Re-starting does not allow SSD to appear in my computer but turning OFF and then turning ON can have SSD in My Computer. I believe re-starting windows removes conflicted drives from its member list. Fresh turning ON can have SSD in My computer because in the starting, windows defender and antivirus cannot get chance to bypass SSD. But there is always re-start while interring into BIOS setting option and it always gets chance to get bypass SSD from its member list. Am I correct?
1. which is the software component forcing out the SSD from Computer at re-starting process?
2. How can l change booting from C drive (HDD) to new SSD?
3. How and where can l see both drive so that l can choose SSD as my Boot drive.
Here is my disks:
The disk 1 disappears while re-starting...
This is my major issue. If am able to keep it showing even after re-starting, I can change boot drive.
Please share your expert idea. Thank you.

Hi,
If you have cloned the drive you should replace the internal Hard Drive with the SSD and you could then put the mechanical drive in the caddy.
Starting on page 71 of service manual you can see the steps to do this

Hope it helps,
