My friend gave me this laptop to fix if possible.
I took out the battery and connected laptop just to AC.
Using 3rd-party charger.
Light next to power jack is white when charger is plugged in.
Laptop will not boot.
No sounds. Silence.
Is it worth it disassemble to replace the CMOS battery?

That is the problem. Machine can't "talk" with charger.
