I'm trying to use the HMD Samsung Odyssey+ headset with my HP Omen laptop. My system meets all the minimum requirements to be able to do so. Ideally, I should just be able to plug the headset into my USB 3.0 port and the HDMI Port and it's good to go. However, plugging it into my USB 3.0 port does nothing. The headset will flash a green bulb, but the Mixed reality portal simply continues to say "connect your headset." When I plug it into the USB 2.0, it will then proceed to recognize it, but tell me I need to use USB 3.0. When I look in device manager, when the Headset is plugged into the 2.0 it recognizes it as a mixed reality device. When I plug it into the 3.0, however, it only labels it as "Composite device" under the USB's, and puts the hololens under "monitors". I've read online people with similar issues installed older drivers, but I'm not sure if that would help me here. I've updated all the drivers I can and my windows 10 is up-to-date.

I have asked the moderators to move this to either the laptop or gaming forum as this is a Samsung printer forum. Or you can post a new topic there for more chance of getting a response.
