Hey! I have hp 250 g7 it has Nvidia mx110(2gb ddr5) graphics card which should give very good performance with low games and very better performance than integrated intel uhd 620. But i noticed that intel uhd performs better that mx110 for example in re6 with mx110 i get 11-15 fps but with intel uhd 620 i get 45-60 fps what is the problem?. i get 30fps in gta5 with uhd 620 but  when i open it with mx110 i get 5 fps  but i should get 45-50 fps with mx110. pleaseeeee helpp meeeee :((((

Hi @Karimoff054

Welcome to the HP support community.

I understand you're experiencing an issue with your HP device, and I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. I'm here to help you today.

Here are some steps to help troubleshoot and hopefully resolve the problem with your Nvidia MX110:

Update Graphics Drivers:

  • Make sure both your Intel UHD and Nvidia drivers are up to date. You can download the latest drivers from the Intel and Nvidia websites.

Nvidia Control Panel Settings:

  • Right-click on your desktop and open the Nvidia Control Panel.
  • Under Manage 3D Settings, ensure that the preferred graphics processor is set to the Nvidia MX110 for the games you’re testing.
  • You can also add specific games and set them to use the MX110.

Check Power Settings:

  • Go to Control Panel > Power Options and ensure you’re using a High Performance plan.
  • In the Nvidia Control Panel, check the Power Management Mode and set it to Prefer Maximum Performance.

Game Settings:

  • Make sure the games are configured to use the MX110 and not the integrated Intel graphics. Sometimes, settings can default back to the integrated graphics.

DirectX and Other Software:

  • Ensure that you have the latest version of DirectX installed, as some games rely on specific versions.

Thermal Throttling:

  • Monitor your GPU temperatures. If the MX110 is overheating, it may throttle performance. Make sure your laptop is well-ventilated.

BIOS Settings:

  • Check the BIOS settings for any options related to graphics configuration. Ensure that the dedicated GPU is enabled.

Reinstall Games:

  • If issues persist, consider reinstalling the games to ensure they’re configured correctly.

Check for Windows Updates:

  • Ensure that your Windows is fully updated, as some updates can affect performance.

I hope this helps! Keep me posted.

this is not my real problem. I know how to make the game opening by mx110 but mx110 has a bad performance than uhd620 and it is in all games there are 40fps difference between uhd 620 and mx110 in games . But in real there should be mx110 give 40 fps  more than uhd620. That is my problem
