Hello!
Help me please my battery isn't charging anymore.
A few days ago I used my laptop with battery and AC connected and then I disconnected AC from the power socket and then a few minutes later my laptop turned off. Later I connected the AC to power socket, turned on my laptop and I saw that there ~60% of power left and it was still charging.
Next day I could not turn on my laptop using battery and without the AC connected. Then I connected the AC and turned on my laptop and found this issue that the 0% avaible (connected, not charging).
Earlier, when my battery was charging, in HP Support assistant there was a BIOS update for my laptop. Now this update had dissappeared.
What could happen to my battery or laptop? How can I make my laptop charge the battery again?
Help me please 😞
Regards, Beck

Thank you for replying,
As I understand the computer turns off as soon as the adapter is disconnected,
If that's the case, I would recommend you to replace the battery of your computer.
You may do this either on the HP Parts Store by clicking here
Or by contacting HP phone support by clicking here
Keep me posted,

Thank you for posting on HP Forums,
I'd be glad to help you 🙂
As I Understand the laptop is plugged into the adapter/charger but it doesn't charge anymore,
Don't worry, though, as I have a few steps listed below that should help you resolve this concern:
Unplug the charge and use the laptop until the battery drains to 15%.
Turn off the laptop and turn it back on after 30mins.
Reinstalled Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery under device manager,
Restart the computer and the issue should be fixed.
Also, Go through them all and let me know what you have determined is causing the issue.

Well, my laptop doesn't even run without the AC adapter connected.
When I plug the AC in with battery inside my laptop the led indicator blinks, and doesn't charge the battery.
I found that the voltage that battery uses when I use my laptop with AC and Battery. is much lower than it is written on the battery itself.
