Hi there! I have a notebook HP Probook 450 G7. My specs:
CPU - Intel Core i5-10210U 1.60GHz
Motherboard - HP 86A0 (Bus PCI-Express 3.0 (8>0 GT/s))
Memory (updated) - 2x Crucial DDR4 16gb 3200
SSD - SK hynix BC511 HFM256GDJTNI-82A0A (256gb)
I want to upgrade my SSD to a 1Tb one. BUT I found the specification for my laptop. It says the maximum size for Primary M.2 Solid State Drive storage is 512 GB. Is it true? If I buy, for example, a Samsung 970 Evo Plus 1 TB or any PCI-E3.0 1TB SSD, does my laptop support it?
Does anyone have experience with upgrading SSD in this kind of laptop?

Hi:
You should be fine with installing a 1 TB NVMe SSD in your notebook.
The drive capacities listed in the manual are normally just what HP offered in the model series, not the maximum capacity supported.
The Crucial memory/SSD report for your notebook indicates they sell NVMe SSD's up to 4 TB for it.
