Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My laptop comes with a 128 GB SSD and 2Tb HDD. I am planning to upgrade the SSD to 1TB and retain the HDD as 2 TB. WIll 1 TB be detected or 512 GB is the limit? Crucial confirms that 1 TB SSD can work on my laptop, but HP documentation mentions only 512 GB SSD (page 35 of component replacement procedures for HP Pavilion 14 inch).

Hi,

Yes,it will work. There is no limit to the capacity of the M2 SSD.

The ones mentioned in the manual are the ones certain models in that series could have come with.

Hope it helps,

David
