Hi I am looking to upgrade my battery to a higher capacity battery. I have been looking for a 10,000 - 15,000 Mah battery upgrade but I have not been able to find any that matches my laptop. I am studying abroad in the spring of 2025 so I would like to get my laptop's battery upgraded if possible. If anyone has any recommendations for under $50 that would be great.
Thanks,
Tice.

This is the one and only battery made to work in that laptop. This or a 3rd party knockoff that will hold no more power:
Battery (3 cell, 41 Whr) L11119-855
There is just no way to buy a different internal battery with 3 times the power capacity or really anything other than a battery just like the one HP provided from the factory. If you need to carry around more electricity than that, your only option is some kind of a power bank. It would need to have a standard AC plug so you could use your existing AC adapter and just plug it in the power bank. These tend to be a bit bulky and difficult to carry around in a laptop case. Here is about the smallest one I could find
Good luck and enjoy your time abroad

Hi Huffer,
Thanks for replying to my post. Which is the highest Mah Laptop Battery that can be installed on my laptop? I got my laptop last year when should I get a new battery for my laptop? I recently bought a 40,000 Mah power bank which does not have AC Outlet. Worst case I can just bring my laptop charger with me to class and sit close to a plug so I can plug it in if I need to while studying abroad.
Thanks,
Tice.

Not making myself clear I guess. The HP original battery is the only kind of battery you can use. 3rd party manufacturers will make a "compatible" battery that is the same size and shape and has the same power capacity. The battery is limited by the exact shape of the battery compartment. The only way to get more capacity is by adding cells and there is no room in the battery compartment for extra cells.
You need to occasionally run the battery diagnostic in HP Support Center to track cycles on the battery and remaining charge capacity. You will generally get at least 2 years out of a laptop battery and most of the time 3 or 4.

Hi Huffer,
Thanks for responding,
My Portable Battery is 40,000 mah and 30W and it has 1 usb-c port & 2 usb ports. Would it be possible to get a usb-c to the smart blue tip laptop charger cord adapter that would be able to charge my laptop with my battery pack?

So the battery pack outputs power from the USB or USB-C ports? I looked up the specs on your laptop and it cannot be charged through the USB-C port (its data only). So this would likely work for you as long as your Portable battery puts out sufficient power to initiate a charge.

If this is what you were hoping to find out please accept this response as the "solution" to make it easier for others to find.

Hi Huffer,
My portable battery has a 30W USB-C port and 2 22.5W USB-A ports. The USB-C port is used to charge the battery pack and I can charge other devices with the USB-C port as well. My laptop charger is 45W. Would my battery pack be enough to support the charger you linked?

Hi Huffer,
Thank you so much for your help. I have recently found a 20,000 mah battery pack which comes with a AC outlet so now my computer will have plenty of charge all day. It comes with 1 USB-C port and 2 USB ports along with the AC Outlet Port. It is designed for laptop charging so hopefully it works well.
thanks,
Tice.
