HP Pavilion 15 bc030-tx

Hi! So ever since I bought this laptop on Dec. 31, 2016, I've always noticed that the service called "System and Compressed Memory" will have a disk usage of 100%. It's unbearable to do anything with my NEW laptop and I've searched far and wide to fix this like disabling superfetch, notifications etc. May I get some help here? I am even thinking of just doing a factory reset if that will fix this bug. I can't do anything with the slowness of my laptop. Even if I'm just surfing the web with Chrome, Disk Usage is still at 100% with "System and Compressed Memory" being the cause.

The only other thing I can think to try. Open Task Manager and End Task for "Microsoft One Drive". If that helps you might look at #9 here on adjusting One Drive:

Did you turn off all Notifications- and restart the laptop?

Yes. I have done a lot of fixes posted online but it still is at 100%. I turned the laptop on every day for a few minutes to check its status and as I have said earlier, it's always at 100% disk usage.

Try updating to latest Intel Rapid Storage Driver. Under Driver-Storage on your Support page:
