Pavilion x360
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

I would like to upgrade the RAM of my HP Pavilion x360 14-ba103ng notebook to the maximum possible speed and memory.

Some pages are indicating, that maximum 16GB are supported, some indicating a maximum support of 64GB.

Is there such a limitation?

If yes, why and how is it limited?

The current RAM is of DDR4-2400 standard. Is the DDR4-3200 or higher supported?

Does the modules need to be SO-DIMM package?

Is there anything else I need to consider?

Do you have any recommendation for a manufcaturer?

Hello,

I have found now a nice video tutorial on YouTube:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XDkEiPOLYmk

the comments are linking to a maintenance manual

http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c06523509

The manual indicates, that maximum 16GB are supported. Is it limited by the mainboard? Why is it limited?

It also indicates that SO DIMM has to be used.

Still I would like to know, if DDR4-3200 or high can be used?
