I have a HP 14-cf0014dx and want to upgrade the wifi to 802.11ax.

(A similar question was answered in 2018, but those recommendations only upgraded to 802.11ac not ax.)

Can you recommend a wifi card that I can use?

Hi:

Since your notebook only has one antenna wire, you wouldn't be able to upgrade to an ax card, which would require two antenna wires.

In a notebook with one antenna wire, your only upgrade path would be to this model wifi adapter...

Realtek RTL8821CE 802.11 ac 1x1 WiFi + Bluetooth 4.2 Combo Adapter (MU-MIMO supported) HP part # L17365-005.

You can find this model on eBay, or Ali Express,

The card will have the same 72 MBPS throughput as the original wifi card on the 2.4 GHz wifi band, but on the 5.0 GHz wifi band, it will have a max throughput of 433 MBPS when you have an AC router with an excellent wifi signal strength.

Below is the link to the service manual, where you can find the wifi card removal and replacement procedure.

You cannot upgrade to the Intel AC9461 as mentioned in the post you referenced.

That is a CRF (Companion RF) card that only works in the notebooks it originally came with.
