With the power adapter connected, run the Windows Battery Report and post the result here in your thread.
I wrote a Knowledge Base article in which I explained in detail how to do that.
The Windows Battery Report will provide the information required to make an accurate diagnosis of your laptop's battery problem.
I do not know how long you have been using the laptop, but be aware that all batteries have a maximum limit of charge-discharge cycles.
At the end of the service life of the battery is reached, replacement with a new one is required.
At 90 minutes of laptop battery usage that you report having, it certainly would logically appear that you are reaching the point where replacement will be required.
I am a volunteer forum member. If my suggestion helped you solve your issue, help others by marking that post as the accepted solution. Say thanks by clicking on the Yes button next to the "was this reply helpful?"

When I purchased the laptop I was getting long use from the computer, and then within the warranty it reduced to around 90 minutes. I returned the laptop to HP who diagnosed the problem as a faulty battery and replaced the battery, and returned the laptop - sadly, the laptop still had the reduced battery life - I've lived with the problem for the last 12 months as power has been readily available but the last month not so, and decided to see I could resolve the problem.
