Hello!
I'm about to buy an HP 14s-dq1001nh (8BR94EA) notebook but I have one concern: the amount of RAM in this model is only 4 GB.
Can I upgrade the memory at home without voiding the warranty? Is that 4 GB module soldered to the motherboard? Does this model have one RAM slot or two?
(I will buy the notebook at Hungary.)

Hi:
Below is the link to the service manual for your notebook. The memory upgrade info can be found in chapter 1.
2 x 8 GB is what the manual states.

Warranty: We are not authorized to discuss warranty terms with other forum members since we don't work for or represent HP.
A general rule of thumb is that you will not void the warranty installing memory as long as you do not break anything in the process.
