So I have upgraded my system board in my 15-bs060wm from the i3-7100u umd unit, to the i7-8550u discrete graphics board and matching heat pipe. Unrelated, I also added the illuminated keyboard (which is so amazing to finally have.) I’ve already got upgraded 16gb ram and an ssd. The question I have pertains to my touch on panel. Everything works great in the computer, except I’ve lost my touchscreen. From the research I’ve found, the windows 10 key is married to the system board, and I would have to update my windows key to enable its hid-compliant touchscreen drivers. Can anyone confirm this? That would be a relief of a situation.
Also, could anyone confirm that with this board (L10346-601), I could run 32gb of ram? That would be a cool (not necessary, but cool) bonus.
Any reply is much appreciated.

The W10 product key would have nothing to do with the touchscreen not working.
The are no standalone touchscreen drivers available.
I would not be able to help you get the touchscreen to work.
Your PC should be able to support 2 x 16 GB of DDR4-2400 CL17 memory.
You can confirm that by running this command:
1. In the search box, search for cmd and click Run as administrator.
This will open the command prompt.
2. Once command prompt is opened, type wmic memphysical get maxcapacityEx and press the enter key.
There, it will show the maximum RAM capacity your PC's motherboard can support.
The capacity is shown as Kilobytes, so you have to convert it to Gigabytes by dividing the number provided in the report by 1,048,576.
