Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Pondering getting a spare battery for my 15-bs158cl and I'm a wee bit confused about what is compatible.

Installed battery is a JC03 3 cell 10.95 volt li-ion battery.  When I look at my machine on HP site, and click through to accessories, it offers me a JC04 4 cell 14 volt battery, or an 0A04 battery, but neither one of those batteries descriptions (very skimpy) indicate whether they support this particular line of laptops.

Is the JC04 (2LP34AA) battery that is being offered compatible?  Does it offer any additional up time over the 3 cell battery?  (hope so)...

I used the HP Partsurfer to see what spare parts information is available for your notebook.

http://partsurfer.hp.com/Search.aspx?type=PROD&SearchText=2MW32UA

The HP 919700-850 is what is listed as the main battery spare part number.

In regards to you question about the JC04 (2LP34AA)  battery.

It is listed on Amazon as being compatible, but the parts list for the notebook at partsurfer.HP.com  does not show that is the case.  I suggest sticking with the OEM battery.
