Hello,
my questions concern notebook 15-db0052nc, product number 4UC47EA of which I'd like someone to tell me:
1. what is the maximum RAM capability of this computer since I haven't been able to find this information anywhere.
2. how many RAM slots are available since I'm unable to access the computer physically and I cannot check.
Currently there is 4 GB DDR4-1866 SDRAM installed and I'm guessing this is just one memory stick using one memory slot. I'm also guessing the computer can take at least 8GB and that there is one more, currently unused slot available.
However I'd need to know this for sure to make the upgrade as smooth as possible due to lack of user's time. I'm not sure why this information is not made more accessible for users.
Thank you.

See p. 2 of the Service Manual here:
Yours has an AMD A6 processor so has a single memory slot. The maximum memory is 8 gb of DDR4-2400 SO-DIMM which the system will downclock to the motherboard speed of 1866 mhz. So you must remove the 4 gb module and install an 8 gb module if you wish to upgrade. Pages 38-44 of the Manual show how to open the laptop and access memory.
Post back with any more questions and please accept as solution if this is the info you needed.

Hello there,
very pleased to be sent a solution so quickly.
I was looking at this manual in my language (Czech) and this info wasn't there. It didn't occur to me that the English variation could be any different.
Many thanks!
