Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

I am looking for Maintenance and Repair type manuals for my 15-dy0013ds Laptop.  I have looked on the product's support page but just a few manuals are listed - none of which are service type manuals.  I am looking for procedures on how to access and replace the battery.  How to upgrade the RAM, etc.

The manual for your HP Notebook 15-dy0013ds (3G832UA) should have been posted here: https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-15-f0000-laptop-pc/28812014/model/34748767/manuals, but it is not -as you already knew. Tried hard to find it, and if there is a HP Notebook 15-dy0013ds manual, HP made it impossible to locate.


According to: HP PartSurfer and: https://www.laptopbatterydirect.net/hp/hp-notebook-15-dy0013ds-battery.htm, your laptop requires the HP p/n: L11119-855 (HT03XL) battery, and the DIY replacement procedure can be seen in this YouTube tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nzyje8vwKO8&ab_channel=UFIXTEK.

 

You can readily purchase a quality HT03XL replacement battery online, such as this example: Amazon.com: HTO3XL HT03XL L11119-855 Battery for HP Pavilion 15-DA0XXX 15-CS0073CL 15-CS0061CL 15-DA...

Both the Crucial and MemoryStock websites specify one RAM slot with up to a maximum 8GB of DDR4 PC4-19200, 2400 MHz, Non-ECC, Unbuffered, SODIMM, 260-pin RAM stick. In the YouTube instructional video, you can see/access the desktop's RAM slot.
