I have a 15-dt2024nr laptop with a 256GB SSD. I would like to upgrade to a 1TB SSD but don’t see this configuration for sale, but do see 500 GB available.  Will the bios support this larger SSD?

Hi:

 

I can't see any reason why your notebook would not support a 1 TB NVME SSD.

 

I can't find a memory report for your exact model but the Crucial memory report for a similar model to yours indicates they are selling up to 4 TB TB NVMe drives.
