You're very welcome.

You are correct.

The report is indicating 2 x 16 GB for a total of 32 GB.

Maybe you can install 64 GB, but I would put my trust in what the Windows report indicates.

Hi:

Below is the link to the service manual for your notebook.

Maintenance and Service Guide (hp.com)

According to the manual, it has two memory slots and can support 2 x 8 GB of DDR4-3200 memory.

If you want to see if your notebook can support more than what HP indicates it can, you can do this to see how much memory your notebook can support:

1. In the search box, search for cmd and click Run as administrator.

This will open the command prompt.

2. Once command prompt is opened, type wmic memphysical get maxcapacityEx and hit enter.

There, it will show the maximum RAM capacity your PC's motherboard can support.

The capacity is shown as Kilobytes, so you have to convert it to Gigabytes by dividing the number provided in the report by 1,048,576.

The Crucial memory report for your notebook indicates that it can support 2 x 32 GB of memory.

Thanks Paul!  I didn't expect to receive a response!  Your command prompt was spot on.  Response was motherboard capacity is 32Gb.  I'm assuming that means 2 x 16 as opposed to the 2 x 32 referenced on the Crucial site.
