Welcome to the HP Support Community @YokeshMS

Because of your CPU and memory type you could upgrade to 32GB.

Hi @YokeshMS

Yes, you can upgrade from 8GB to 16GB without any problem. As @REO51ST states, you can upgrade to max 32GB of DDR4 2400Mhz RAM (2x16GB)

There are two slots and at the moment you have one slot with 8GB and one empty slot. So you can insert a 8GB of DDR4 2400Mhz stick in the empty slot. You can purchase from your preferred brand such as Crucial, Corsair...

On page 43 of the service manual you can see the steps to upgrade RAM:

http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c06147959

An upgrade which would be much more noticeable in everyday performance would be to replace the Hard drive with an SSD or Insert an M2 SSD and install the OS on the SSD. This will give a much greater performance boost than the extra RAM. Your PC has support for both M2 SATA 3 SSD and much faster M2 PCIe NVMe SSD. You should check if the slot is present on motherboard. On page 39 of service manual you can see how to remove bottom cover:
