i want to upgrade from win 10 to win11 but there's an error with tpm. Can you pease check whether this device has tpm ? If not help me with troubleshooting.

Hi:

 

Chapter 1, page 4 of the service manual indicates that model series has a firmware-based Trusted Platform Module (fTPM) 2.0 security device.

 

There are several posts regarding W11 not recognizing a fTPM 2.0 device as a TPM 2.0 device, which is probably why your notebook is failing the W11 TPM hardware check.

If your notebook has a TPM 2.0 security device, it will be listed in the device manager under a security devices category.

 

If you do not see the TPM listed there, check the BIOS to see if there is a setting to enable it.

 

If there is and it is disabled, you can enable it, save the settings and then the TPM should be enabled.

 

If you can't get the TPM to show up and you want to upgrade to W11, you will need to use one of the W11 hardware check bypass methods so you can upgrade to W11.

 

I found this method to be the easiest way to do that...
