Pavillion 15 - [edit]- L2W62EA#ABU
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I currently have already upgraded the OS HDD to a 120Gb SSD.  I also have removed the optical drive and installed a 2Tb drive in a HDD caddy for storage.

I have also got a 4Tb drive, a 15mm 2.5" Western Digital drive.  It is also too tall to fit in the hard drive caddy in the optical bay.

My question is could i put the 15mm drive internally in the laptop and then boot from the caddy.  The option is already in the BIOS to boot from it so I basically need to know if the 15mm drive is going to physicall fit in the drive bay internally in the laptop before I go to the trouble of stripping it down to find it wont fit.

Sorry but a little too thick.

Supports 6.35 cm (2.5 in) hard drives in 9.5 mm (.37 in) and 7.0 mm (.28 in) thicknesses (all hard drives use the same bracket)

Grrrrr ok. Thought it would be too good to be true. Need to strip it down anyway as I’m having to put a larger os drive in it. Would have been nice to make it fit.

Thanks for the quick reply @reo51st
