Mine is the very same. I think we all need to get them to do a recall. We paid a lot of money for the laptop.

I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details). If you are unfamiliar with how the Forum's private message capability works, you can learn about that here.

I was told that I would be receiving help too. I was PMed by a Case Manager named Lee who introduced himself but never replied again. Repeated attempts to contact him unanswered. I reached out to the original PM before the case manager was assigned and I was told that my concern would be forwarded but to keep reaching out to Lee. Here I am, a month later, no help at all - all because HP makes defective laptops that fail after a year. I will be having my laptop repaired locally and just eat the cost, but not without filing with the Better Business Bureau and sharing my experience everywhere.

It would be great if HP customers actually had any impact on the company, but in fact, they do not care about the quality of their products, or the satisfaction of their customers. Take you money and run. That is it for HP.

Sounds like a good decision. I, too, had a case manager reach out to me, and after telling him when I would be available (multiple times, mind you), he stopped responding. I smell a class action lawsuit in the not-to distant future.

Couldn't agree more... Can't wait to get rid of this POS and get a Macbook. At least I know it'll last for more than a year.

Mine was fixed once already under warrenty, it's broke again and now out of warrenty

How long was it from fix to break? Let us know if you get a second fix.

Mine came apart for a second time approximately three months after it was repaired. The silence from the HP Customer "Service" team is deafening.
