Hello.

17" Laptop 1053 DX

The keyboard and touchpad casing broke due to a problem with the hinges (poorly designed and poor quality material) and I need to change them.

The specific question is if I can take advantage of the moment, put a casing with a backlit keyboard and if it would work.

Has anyone done it? Is it possible?

Thanks to everyone for the ideas or suggestions.
