HP Recommended

I have purchased a new HDD that was shown as compatible with my HP-dw1021na laptop. The ssd included with the laptop was very small ~240GB so I purchased a 2TB 2.5 inch SSD that has totally different connectors. It looks like I now have to find seperate parts to get this drive to fit.

2.5" Drive bracket Lxxxxx-001 connector board L52024-001 cable L52025-001

 

I searched the HP site and it seems that these parts are not available. Why is it sold without any mention that I need these items to upgrade the drive?

 

Despite me needing these parts now urgently it seems that HP are not addressing the issue other than via PM's looking at other customers posts here. I just want to get this issue fixed ASAP without having to resort to that auction site to buy second hand.

 

If anyone could point me in the right direction I would be most grateful.
