Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

Model Name: HP Pavilion 15-ec1051ax

 

I tried upgrading my storage by installing a secondary SSD (Crucial BX500 1TB) into the secondary 2.5" slot present on my laptop but the device fails to recognise the drive. Is there any fix for this?

It is compatible with your laptop.

 

Use the Windows Diskpart utility to create a GPT volume and a partition and  then format the disk.

Give it a drive letter and it should be recognized.
