I've two RAMs of same configuration but they are having different voltage 1.35V and 1.5V, Can I use them together? One is having DDR3L with 1.35V and other is having DDR3 with 1.5V. The bandwidths of both RAMs are PC3-12800 (800MHz) with dual rank and each module of 4GB capacity. My laptop is HP Pavilion n-208TX. Pls help me whether I should/can use them together or not? Call me Kundan!

Hi:
The product specs for your notebook call for DDR3L (1.35V) memory.
HP Pavilion 15-n208tx Notebook PC Product Specifications | HP® Customer Support
So does the service manual. See chapter 1.
It does not indicate that DDR3 (1.5V) memory will work.
I would not recommend using the 1.5V memory chip because even if it works, it will run hotter than it is supposed to since it is drawing more voltage than the specifications call for.

DDR3L modules can run at 1.35 or 1.5 volts and regular DDR3 only runs at 1.5 volts. Looks like your motherboard can supply either voltage. My best estimate? The memory will work, it will draw 1.5 volts in both modules and you will not have dual channel operation.
Update: I checked the specs and all the memory modules listed by part number are actually 1.35 volt DDR3L. This model series has a 3rd gen Intel Core version and a 4th gen. Generally 4th gen uses low voltage and most 3rd gen systems use 1.5 volt. I'm gonna change my guess and say I am right above if you have a 3rd gen system and the 1.5 volt module will not be recognized if you have a 4th gen

Thanks everyone!
BTW I'm using both RAMs together at the moment but one can see the difference in voltage in slot 1 and slot 2 along with the type of Memory as DDR3L and DDR3.
According to CPU-Z, It's 4th gen
