My two year old HP's power button is stuck and would require tech skills I don't have to fix it and the cost to have it fixed would be better invested in a non HP computer that actually works. A google search revealed reports from many, many people that they have many problems including this one with HP products and many, many peoplereported that HP products are crap. And some report that HP is jammed with preinstalled software to log key strokes and spy on you. Here is my response to HPs useless automated support to their questions of what they could do to improve their support. " You can try manufacturing a quality product in which a simple but essential component works. After I looked on line I can see that many, many people have had this same problem with piece of **bleep** HP laptops. I am not a computer tech and am not able to disassemble your piece of **bleep** laptop, buy another button and replace. Nor am I going to waste any money on a piece of **bleep** computer to have it repaired. I am going to do two things. First, I am going to buy a new laptop which will not be a piece of **bleep** HP. Second, I am going to review on the web HP laptops and warn people that they are a piece of **bleep**. Third I am going to NEVER buy an HP product again. You have permantly lost a customer for life! and for the duration of my life I am going to make sure that at every chance I have to speak with people about technology products, I will make sure they know what a piece of **bleep** your products are. When a company can't make a computer's on and off that works and lasts it shows me that they make unreliable, low quality, crap products. Unfortunately I have an HP printer. You can bet that I when that piece of **bleep** stops working, I will be replacing it with some other brand. Your company screwed me but you also made me an ex-customer. I will return the complement. Here's hoping your company goes out of business.
