Spectre x360 15T
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a new Spectre 360 with 15" OLED.  The battery drains at least 1% per day while completely off  (not sleep or hibernate).

I did the option in Windows where you disable fastboot but that made no difference.  I have other computers with the same OS (Windows 10) and they do not drain at all when off.

It also seems to have terrible battery life with the screen even dim.  I can watch the percent drop 1% every few minutes while doing nothing more that having it on.  This was supposed to have good battery life but does not.  If using it the battery will be drained in a few hours.

Is it defective and should I return it?

@DaveC1964,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

I reviewed your post and I understand that the battery is draining even when the computer is turned off.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

I recommend you update the BIOS from the below link and check if it helps.
