Envy x360
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I purchased a HP Envy x360, new in March 2020 for doing work at Home in the Pandemic.  I used almost exclusively in that capacity, plugged in 90% of the time.  I would unplug it to use battery power just to be sure it lasted as long as it was propurted to do.  It did in the very early life, but over the past 6 months or more, it doesn't last more than 30 -40 minutes..  I call that Extremely Poor Performance.

If a new battery is needed ... How do I install it ?  Where do I buy a new battery, if I elect to do it.?  I have an Acer Chromebook and a Samsung Tablet , with No such poor Battery performance.

Very Disappointed in this Laptop, having had to have the dreaded right Hinge replaced because it broke and the screen was separating form the body, and now this battery performance.  Gives me Great Pause before I order another HP product (I've had 3 other 17" Laptops with now issues except for the fan cooling and this 15" laptop).

Leaving it plugged in 90% of the time is what has caused your battery issue.

If you will identify your notebook with its complete product name or product number, I will provide links to online vendors who sell compatible replacement batteries.
