I'm looking at buying the HP ENVY 13t-ba000 and using it with an eGPU. The spec sheet says that the USB-C is a Thunderbolt 3 port, but on the pictures, there is no Thunderbolt symbol next to the port, rather there is a Superspeed symbol and an HP Sleep and Charge symbol. Can somebody please clarify whether or not this is a full Thunderbolt 3 port? Also, how many PCIe lanes are available for use through this port?

Thank you.

From the following Manual (page 1):

       http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c05356832.pdf

It does not have Thuderbolt 3 port.

No, no such PCIe lanes are available for use through this USB-C port?

Thank you for the quick response. I believe that you linked the manual for a different ENVY model, the 13t-ab000, not the 13t-ba000. This is the laptop I am talking about: https://store.hp.com/us/en/pdp/hp-envy-laptop-13t-ba000-8mx92av-1

Sorry, we have to trust the store which says it has

1 Thunderbolt™ 3 (40Gbps signaling rate) with SuperSpeed USB Type-C® 10Gbps signaling rate (USB Power Delivery, DisplayPort™ 1.4, HP Sleep and Charge)

Normally HP has a different way to code USB ports, for example HP uses red (not blue) for USB 3.0 on many machines.

With Thunderbolt™ 3 port, you can use some eGPU's on market today for example

Thanks, and since it says 40Gbps, I should assume full x4 PCIe bandwidth, correct?
