I received the same results in both System Test and Component Test. (Both extensive test)

I ran memory extensive test several times on individual Rams( my notebook was HP 15 with 2 ram slots) and the test passed.

However only when I run with both Rams plugged in the error occurs.

What is the issue and how can I resolve it? I am not sure whether there is official HP service center near me so I decided to find help here

It means    Memory Module Failure (no DIMM id)

but that suggests a problem with ?????

Are they a matching pair? Do you get the capacity shown?

Thats all I received from the Memory Extensive test result.

Slot 1 is Elpida DDR3 1333MHz 2GB 'Synchronous'

Slot 2 is Kingston DDR3 1333MHz 4GB 'Synchronous'

I have been using them since 2014.

My Processor is 

Intel i3-3110 CPU@ 2.4GHz

A wild stab in the dark...

Could the RTC/CMOS battery be flat and the BIOS settings  failed?

My laptop battery was damaged years ago and I have basically been using without a battery.

And for the CMOS battery, I am highly positive that it was damaged too as my laptop clock has not been accurate since the start of this year.

How is CMOS affecting the Memory though?

I am still thankful that I asked here rather than just passing it to some computer shop nearby that would overcharge me.

and changing the CMOS battery is a major undertaking.

It does maintain the state of HDD, Boot Sequence etc etc so may be relevant.

All in all I am confused and do not want to keep guessing about the vagaries of HP PC's and cause you to waste time or any unnecessary expense.
