Today I noticed my laptop suddenly shuts when power cut occurs in our area. I was per-flexed as the battery was not supplied power to laptop. When power supply resumes I turned on the laptop and inquired about battery in task bar and noticed the above circumstances. I searched solution, but not got proper solution for this problem. Please help, as power supply is not stable in our area. Thanks in advance.

Hello @Saumendra
What exactly is your PC model - Pavilion ? Can you post the full model and the product number (p/n) - here is how to find it >> http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c00033108
You should test and calibrate the battery - here is how >> https://support.hp.com/bg-en/document/c04700771
Try to reinstall the Windows driver:
- Click on the Start Button
- Type "Device Manager" in the start search box & open the Device Manager
- Look for Batteries and expand it by click on the + symbol on the left
- Right Click on "Microsoft ACPI Compliant Control Method Battery" & uninstall
- This Battery driver should get reinstalled automatically when you restart the Notebook again
- Please RESTART the Notebook -> here is how to do it in Windows 10 >> https://www.digitalcitizen.life/7-ways-shut-down-or-restart-windows-10-pc-or-device
If the issue persists try updating BIOS on your PC and check if it helps => https://support.hp.com/ie-en/document/c00042629
Let me know how it goes. Provide an update with details.

My product is HP Pavilion 15 Notebook PC. I done both the steps you suggested, but problem still remains. Further when I done HP PC Hardware Diagnostics check by pressing F2 at startup and check battery for its health, system does not find the battery.
