hello, i was wondering if i can replace my 2630QM CPU with the 2860 QM

i saw the service manual description and it says that it can be replaced with 2820QM ...

but 2820 2860 are quite the same.. is it possoble? maybe the manual is not updated ?

We can't guarantee anything other than the processors listed in the Manual will work. 

 

However, there is a chance it will work and I would say a very good chance as the specs of the 2 processors are just about the same except clock speed.
