Hi there.. I have HP EliteBook 840 G6 Laptop, which have stock Intel 512GB SSD (M2).

Seem that i need a bit more space and planing to upgrade to 2TB SSD (1TB will be enough, but want long term solution)

I planned to get Samsung 970 Evo Plus 2 TB, but i realized that there is many review's complaining because of heating of this SSD (similar on 980 Pro). After reading all thos complaints i realize that this SSD maybe wont be suitable for my Laptop.

So im asking to  recommend me specific 2TB (or 1TB)  brand/model, which is TLC based and work reliable on HP EliteBook 840 G6?

Thanks

Hi:

I don't know if you can get this model in your country, but it is supposed to run cool for its speed.

Amazon.com: SK hynix Gold P31 2TB PCIe NVMe Gen3 M.2 2280 Internal SSD l Up to 3500MB/S l Compact M....

I would have also recommended the regular Samsung 980 (not Pro), but that only comes in a max storage capacity of 1 TB.
