Hi:

HP only offered NVMe SSDs up to 1 TB in the model series according to chapter 1 of the service manual.

HP Spectre x360 Convertible PCModel numbers: 13-w000 – 13-w099Model numbers: 13-ac000 – 13-ac099 Mai...

That is normally just what HP offered in the model series, not the maximum capacity supported.

I don't know of any reason why a 2 TB NVMe SSD wouldn't work, but I cannot 100% guarantee that it will.

Bear in mind that your notebook's M.2 NVMe SSD slot is only PCIe Gen 3.0 so the max speed a PCIe Gen 4 SSD will run at will be limited to around 3,500 MBPS.

An alternative 2 TB drive that may cost less would be the Western Digital Blue SN570 PCIe 3.0 x 4, unless you plan on transferring the Samsung 980 Pro to a newer PC in the future that has a PCIe Gen 4.0 SSD slot.
