Hey, I recently bought the HP 14-cf0014dx laptop. It only has 128gb SSD. I want to know if there's a second slot for HDD to upgrade.

Yes, it has a slot/bay which supports all 7.0/7.2 mm, SATA 2.5" HDDs/SSDs. You need the following 2 parts to connect new HDD/SSD for your machine

 

  • Hard drive cable part # L23187-001
  • Hard drive bracket part #  L24490-001

Yes, it has a slot/bay which supports all 7.0/7.2 mm, SATA 2.5" HDDs/SSDs. You need the following 2 parts to connect new HDD/SSD for your machine

 

  • Hard drive cable part # L23187-001
  • Hard drive bracket part #  L24490-001
