HP ENVY Laptop PC 17t-cg100 CTO
Microsoft Windows 11

Hi.  I've looked around this site and the documentation for this laptop (HP Envy 17T-cg100 CTO - http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c06598442.pdf).  I see the instructions on how to add/remove the SSD, but nothing to indicate on how many SSDs it can support.  Other sources I've read are inconsistent with some saying that it can only hold one SSD and others saying that it can hold two.

Any definitive answer before I bother cracking the case open to look?  I'd rather avoid that unless I'm actually adding one.  Thanks so much in advance!

Hi:

If you look at the motherboard illustrations in chapter 5 on pages 46 and 52 of the service manual, you will see that there is only one position for a NVMe SSD, on the left side of the motherboard illustration.
