Can I install 2nd M2 SSD in my Probook 440 G10? What is the biggest capacity?

Hi:

Yes, the notebook has support for two M.2 NVMe SSD's.

The service manual indicates that HP offered the 2nd NVMe SSD in a storage capacity up to 256 GB.

Maintenance and Service Guide (hp.com)

Chapter 5 has the SSD removal and replacement procedure.

Unfortunately, I don't know if the 256 GB is a hard limit or just what HP offered in the model series.

It is usually just what HP offered as an option, not the maximum capacity supported.

Important note:  The secondary SSD can only be used if there is no WWAN card installed because the WWAN slot is used for the secondary SSD, which would be a M.2 2230 form factor and seems to need a SSD support kit.

See chapter 5, page 44 for where to install the second NVMe SSD.
