Hi:
I have an envy dv7 laptop Product# C2H77UA#ABA with a 32GB mSSD which came with Win8. I recently upgraded to Win10 and the boot times now seem much longer. The Device Mgr entry for this LITEONIT LMT-32L3M-HP mSSD says it is working properly, but the events tab tells me "Device not migrated." The Control Panel does not include an Intel Rapid Technology entry. I guess this means the mSSD is not functioning under Win10. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.

The function of the 32 GB mSSD drive is to act as cache memory for your notebook to speed up memory access for the operating system.
Unfortunately, HP has not provided an updated IRST driver software for your notebook since Windows 8.
A Intel® Rapid Storage Technology (Intel® RST) RAID Driver for Windows 10 is available from Intel at the following Intel web document. Donload and install it.

Thanks, that did it. I installed the Intel RST driver, configured it from the control panel for max acceleration, and after two restarts the boot was back to its familiar pre-Win10 quick execution. Your expertise and prompt help much appreciated.
