OMEN 17.3 inch Gaming Laptop PC 17-ck2000 (70X00AV)

Hello. I have a HP omen 17 ck2004. my current ram is 32 GB DDR5-5600 MHz RAM (2 x 16 GB). and I would like to change it to 64 GB DDR5-5200 MHz RAM (2 x 32 GB). Is it worth it? If so, Can I do it myself and not void warranty?

Upgrading to 64Gb from 32 GB is not really worth it, especially if you are expecting a performance increase.

Hello Erico

My work generally involves a lot of 4K editing and rendering. Not to mention multiple tabs open in chrome in the bg. I noticed that a lot of times my ram consumption is going 100%. That is the reason I am looking at this as an option. Would it help in this case?

HP Recommended

For editing it would help.

The only thing is that Windows and HP do not show 128 GB of installed as a viable upgrade option.
