Can I increase from 4GB RAM to 8GB RAM in HP laptop 15-da0326TU? Do I need to replace existing RAM bar with one of 8 RAM bar? or is it through an additional slot?

Hi:

 

Your notebook has two memory slots and can support 2 x 8 GB of DDR4 memory.

 

You can install either a 4 GB memory chip or an 8 GB memory chip in the empty slot.

 

See chapter 1 of the service manual for the memory upgrade information.
