Hello guys. I have a question on SSD upgrade. I have bought this laptop only because I had 2 options. Either 250 ssd (which is not enough) or 1 tb. I bought 1 tb, but it is very slow. It has only 5400 rpm and it works very bad. I decided to switch to ssd.
I know that some models doesn't have m2 slot, but my I think has one. What is your advice. What should I use. 2.5 ssd or m2 version. I am not good in hardware. I took photos, I think I have m2. I have opened up the back lid of my laptop and took some pictures.

Hi:
Yes, that is the M.2 slot in your first screenshot, and it even appears to come with the hold down screw for the other end of the SSD.
I have the 255 G7 with the AMD A4 processor and it has the 256 GB M.2 SSD.
I would remove the HDD, or use it for extra storage, and go with a 1 TB M.2 SSD
According to the service manual (chapter 1), the model series only uses SATA M.2 SSD's, so there would be no difference in a 2.5" SSD or a M.2 SSD.

You can get this model in either 2.5" or M.2...

I see an empty memory slot. If your notebook has an A9 or Ryzen processor, you can upgrade the memory while you are at it.
