i have the bs144wm it says it has the hp 832a version 23.70 motherboard and that it has 2 slots and shows 2 slots on the board but when i opened the case there is only 1 ram slot connector but 2 ports can i buy another ram slot connector and solder it in or do i have to send laptop in or something? i just wanted to upgrade the ram but i cant figure out what i need to do so other than i can use ddr 4 ram

Hi:
Notebooks with the Intel Pentium® Gold 4417U processors only have one memory slot.
The slot supports a max of 8 GB of DDR4 memory.
You can remove the 4 GB memory chip and replace it with an 8 GB memory chip.
You wouldn't be able to solder an additional memory mounting apparatus.
