Product: Elitebook 8460P
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

The manual of this notebook covers 3 different models.

The subject model is:  Elite NoteBook 8640P   Product:  XU057UT#ABA

Serial #: CNU132135K

page 78 chapter 4 shows how to remove and replace the RTC/CMOS battery. I can't find this on the bottom of the subject notebook with the cover removed. It needs a new power battery, which is ordered.

Is this model one of the few that did not have an RTC battery?

If not, can you provide a better picture of its location please.

This YouTube video shows how to remove the RTC/CMOS battery.

 

The actual RTC/CMOS battery removal starts at minute 7:40.

It doesn't look anything like what is shown in the manual.
