HP Spectre x360 - 13-ae012dx
Microsoft Windows 11

I have been getting this error for a few weeks now and it has started to consistently come up when I start the computer. I tried cleaning the fans with compressed air and checking connections but it all looked ok. Still am getting the 90b fan error.

Hi@Zazimir,

Welcome to the HP Support Community! I'd like to help!

I see you are experiencing Fan error 90B issues with the HP Spectre X360 Laptop.

I have a few recommendations

  • Update your Notebook computer to the latest BIOS from HP.COM.
  • Make sure the Windows and HP support assistant updates are up to date.

If the issue still persists then it is a hardware issue on the screen.

For any hardware issue or repair please click on the link Phone Assist Worldwide

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
