HP Elitebook 9840m
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

The title pretty much says it all, I installed a new 512gb 2242 m.2 ssd in my 9840m and it is not recognized anywhere, bios, software etc. I even tried booting to a live linux just to see if gparted would find it and still nothing. I'm at a loss, I really wanted to upgrade from my old HDD and I cannot seem to find a similar issue with this specifc pc.

Side note: This is a great workstation and by far my favorite laptop to date!
