Hi @sarit12
Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.
If your Victus by HP 16.1 inch Gaming Laptop PC (model 16-r0000) is showing a failure in the wireless IRQ test for the Microsoft Wi-Fi Direct Virtual Adapter, you can follow these steps to troubleshoot and potentially resolve the issue:
Troubleshooting Steps
Update Wireless Drivers:
- Check if there are any updated drivers for your network adapter. You can do this by visiting the HP Support website and searching for your laptop model to find the latest drivers.
Reinstall the Wireless Network Adapter:
- Open Device Manager by right-clicking on the Start menu and selecting "Device Manager."
- Expand the "Network adapters" section, right-click your wireless adapter, and select "Uninstall device."
- Restart your computer; Windows should automatically reinstall the network adapter.
Run Windows Troubleshooter:
- Go to "Settings" > "Update & Security" > "Troubleshoot."
- Select "Internet Connections" and run the troubleshooter.
- You can also run the "Network Adapter" troubleshooter from this menu.
Check for Windows Updates:
- Make sure your Windows 11 operating system is up-to-date. Go to "Settings" > "Update & Security" > "Windows Update" and check for updates.
Reset Network Settings:
- Go to "Settings" > "Network & Internet" > "Status."
- Scroll down and select "Network reset." This will remove and reinstall all network adapters and set other networking components back to their original settings.
BIOS Update:
- Check if there is a BIOS update available for your laptop model on the HP Support website and update accordingly.
If these steps do not resolve the issue, it might be a hardware-specific problem.
