Hi, my original AC adapter was lost travelling so I need to replace it.
Does anyone know the part #  to purchase?

Hi @CriRossi,

 

You need assistance in finding the AC Adapter for your HP Pavilion DV6-3013SL Notebook.

 

Please go through the Maintenance and Service guide of your notebook and here are few of the findings. 

 

For the Part description - Please go through the Chapter 1 - Power requirements Page number - 5.

 

For the Spare Part number - Chapter 3. Illustrated parts catalog - Miscellaneous parts - Page number 34. 

 

Please note the parts listed here are the ones which are tested and compatible on your PC. 

 

If you wish to try other parts you can try it at your own discretion, HP Doesn't recommend any upgrade/downgrade of any hardware parts or software that is bundled with the product. It may affect the manufacturer's warranty and performance. 

 

Alternatively, You could replace the part on your own, use the HP Parts surfer to identify the part: Click here & order it via the HP Parts store (Click here).

If you find difficulty replacing the part, I would recommend you contact our HP support team for further assistance.

Thank you for your answer.
Looking in the manual I found the correct part number (613154-001), but it is not actually selling on the HP parts store so I'm am looking for local resellers.

As the part listed here are universal, if you're not able to find them on HP part store, you can always try to check through online retail stores such as eBay and Amazon.
