OMEN by HP 16.1 inch Gaming Laptop PC 16-wd000 (755F6AV)

the problem is the laptop dont charge the batery when is running.
Then, when the computer is sleep, the led power near the plug of the ac power wakeup and charge the batery.
In a conclusion: i use the notebook with the charge on in a batery.
After the charge (70wh), i sleep the os for charge the batery.
A A realy dificult situation.
One note more: if i disconnect and connect the plug of the ac power on the notebook, windows show me a message from "the hp system event utility".
The message show me "Incompatible power source detected. Your computer will run from battery and is not charging. Use of the original power adapter is recommended."1698105125588.jpg1698105125599.jpg1698105125609.jpg1698105125617.jpg1698105125624.jpg1698105125631.jpg
The part ac power adapter is original from the box with the product (230w). No heating and charge the battery when the computer sleep.
The question:
Is there a driver to solve this operation ? Or can I only solve it through technical service ?

Welcome to the HP support community.

I understand that you are getting a power source error, I am glad to assist you.

Update the Bios, chipset, and drivers using HP Support Assistant.

Download and run the HP Support Assistant from this Link: Click here

  • HPSA will automatically search for all the latest drivers for your Notebook
  • Click My devices in the top menu, and then click Updates in the My PC or My notebook pane.
  • Click Updates in the My notebook pane
  • Click Check for updates and messages to scan for new updates.
  • Updates list in HP Support Center
  • Review the list of updates. Updates with a yellow information icon are recommended. Updates with a blue information icon are optional.
  • Click the update name for a description, version number, and file size.
  • Select the box next to any updates you want to install, and then click Download and install.

Also, ensure Windows is up to date.

  • Select the Start  button, and then go to Settings  > Update & security  > Windows Update , and select Check for updates. If Windows Update says your device is up to date, you have all the updates that are currently available

Let me know how it goes.

To thank me for my efforts to help you, please mark my post as an accepted solution so that it benefits several others.

Cheers.
